Today saw the arrival of dozens of big yellow dumpsters all around town, provided by Monrovia City Corporation for residents to throw their garbage in. The illegal dumping of garbage is a very big problem here - the majority of the population dump it on the streets - and so MCC has been given funding by the UN to address the issue before any major outbreaks of disease.
