When Appelsbosch College of Education was buit in the early 90s, the KwaZulu Natal government tried to keep track of every item with either a serial number or a bar code, including every desk, every chair, every table, every wheel barrow, every rubbish bin...even every toilet brush:
"Alright - who's got toilet brush ZE/TB/2/10?".
