In September, Liberia's Ministry of Labor issued Regulation #17 of the Labor Practices Law of Liberia, increasing the fee for a non-Liberian Work Permit from US$450 to US$1,000, in a bid to keep non-Liberian "store boys" out of the country and provide jobs for Liberians only. I'm not sure that's the best way to help their economy...maybe Liberia should be attracting
more foreigners to open
