Today was the Africa Mercy's third Celebration of Sight day. Dozens of eye patients who have recently had cateract surgery returned for quick and painless follow-up lazer surgery, following which they celebrated their new gift of sight! It was a wonderful day to be part of, as patient after patient told their stories of blindness, and then how they were given back the gift of sight by the caring Christian eye doctors on the big white ship.
